Curtis High School is comprised of several historic buildings constructed over the first half of the 20th Century in the Collegiate Gothic Style. The New Addition is a 32,000 SF, contextual interpretation of that style containing 11 Classrooms, A Media Center, and a Competition Gymnasium. Fifty percent of the students at Curtis High School participate in school sports and the new Competition Gymnasium will allow the school to further develop sports programming and to host major sporting events. The New Addition will free space in the existing Gymnasium Building that will be renovated to provide a new Dance Studio, a new competition Wrestling Room and renovated locker Rooms. The New Addition Classrooms will relieve overcrowding and allow the removal of 4 Temporary Classroom Units.
